What data do we collect?

Below is an overview of the data we may collect:

  • Unidentified and non-identifiable information that you provide during the registration process or that is collected through the use of our services ("non-personal data"). Non-personal data does not allow us to identify who collected it. The non-personal data we collect primarily consists of technical and aggregated usage information.

  • Individually identifiable information, i.e., any information that can identify you or that could reasonably be used to identify you ("personal data"). Personal data we collect through our services may include information that is requested from time to time, such as names, email addresses, addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, and more. If we combine personal data with non-personal data, we will treat the combined data as personal data as long as it remains combined.

How do we collect data?

Below are the main methods we use to collect data:

  • We collect data during your use of our services. When you visit our digital assets and use services, we may collect, record, and store usage, session, and related information.

  • We collect data that you provide to us yourself, such as when you contact us directly through a communication channel (e.g., an email with a comment or feedback).

  • We may collect data from third-party sources as described below.

  • We collect data that you provide when you log in to our services through a third party such as Facebook or Google.

Why do we collect this data?

We may use your data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and operate our services;

  • To develop, customize, and improve our services;

  • To respond to your feedback, requests, and inquiries, and to offer support;

  • To analyze demand and usage patterns;

  • For other internal, statistical, and research purposes;

  • To improve our data security and fraud prevention capabilities;

  • To investigate violations and enforce our terms and policies, as well as comply with applicable law, regulations, or government orders;

  • To send you updates, news, promotional materials, and other information related to our services. You can choose whether or not to receive promotional emails. If you no longer wish to receive them, simply click the unsubscribe link in these emails.

To whom do we disclose this data?

We may share your data with our service providers to operate our services (e.g., storing data via third-party hosting services, providing technical support, etc.).

We may also disclose your data in the following circumstances: (i) to investigate, detect, prevent, or address illegal activities or other misconduct; (ii) to establish or exercise our rights to defend ourselves; (iii) to protect our rights, property, or personal safety, and the safety of our users or the public; (iv) in the event of a change of control in our company or one of our affiliated companies (e.g., through a merger, acquisition, or purchase of substantially all assets); (v) to collect, hold, and/or manage your data via authorized third-party providers (e.g., cloud service providers), as necessary for business purposes; (vi) to work with third-party providers to improve your user experience. For the avoidance of doubt, we may transfer or share non-personal data with third parties at our discretion.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

When you visit or access our services, we authorize third parties to use web beacons, cookies, pixel tags, scripts, and other technologies and analytics services ("tracking technologies"). These tracking technologies may enable third parties to automatically collect your data to enhance your navigation experience on our digital assets, optimize their performance, and provide a tailored user experience, as well as for security and fraud prevention purposes.

To learn more, please read our Cookie Policy.

Without your consent, we will not share your email address or other personal data with advertising companies or ad networks.

Where do we store the data?

Please note that our companies and trusted partners and service providers are located worldwide. For the purposes explained in this privacy policy, we store and process all non-personal data we collect in different jurisdictions.

Personal data may be maintained, processed, and stored in the United States, Ireland, South Korea, Taiwan, Israel, and in other jurisdictions as necessary for the proper provision of our services and/or as required by law (as explained further below).

How long do we retain the data?

Please note that we retain the collected data as long as it is necessary to provide our services, comply with our legal and contractual obligations to you, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

We may correct, supplement, or delete inaccurate or incomplete data at our discretion at any time.

How do we protect the data?

The hosting service for our digital assets provides us with the online platform that allows us to offer you our services. Your data may be stored via the hosting provider's data storage, databases, and general applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall and offer secure HTTPS access to most areas of their services.

Despite the measures and efforts taken by us and our hosting provider, we cannot guarantee absolute protection and security of the data you upload, post, or otherwise share with us or others.

Therefore, we urge you to set strong passwords and avoid sharing any sensitive information with us or others that you believe could cause you significant or lasting harm if disclosed. As email and instant messaging are not considered secure communication channels, we also ask that you do not share any sensitive information through these channels.

How do we handle minors?

Children may use our services. However, if they wish to access certain features, they may be required to provide certain information. Some data collection (including data collected via cookies, web beacons, and other similar technologies) may occur automatically. If we knowingly collect data from a child, we will notify and obtain the consent of the parent in accordance with applicable law. We do not make a child's participation in an online activity contingent on the child providing more contact information than is reasonably necessary to participate in that activity. We use the data we collect only in connection with the services requested by the child.

We may also use a parent's contact information to communicate about the child's activities within the services. Parents can review the data we have collected from their child, prohibit us from collecting further data from their child, and request that any data we have collected be deleted from our records.

Please contact us to review, update, or delete your child's data. To protect your child, we may request proof of your identity. We may deny access to data if we believe your identity is questionable. Please note that certain data cannot be deleted due to other legal obligations.

We use your personal data only for the purposes set out in this privacy policy and only when we are confident that:

  • The use of your personal data is necessary to fulfill or enter into a contract (e.g., to provide you with the services or offer customer support);

  • The use of your personal data is necessary to comply with relevant legal or regulatory obligations; or

  • The use of your personal data is necessary to support our legitimate business interests (provided it is done in a manner that is proportionate and respects your privacy rights).

As an EU resident, you can:

  • Request confirmation as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed, and request access to your stored personal data as well as certain supplementary information;

  • Request to receive personal data you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format;

  • Request the correction of your personal data stored by us;

  • Request the deletion of your personal data;

  • Object to the processing of your personal data by us;

  • Request the restriction of the processing of your personal data; or

  • File a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Please note, however, that these rights are not absolute and may be subject to our legitimate interests and regulatory requirements. If you have general questions about the personal data we collect and how we use it, please contact us as outlined below.

In the course of providing the services, we may transfer data across borders to affiliated companies or other third parties and from your country/jurisdiction to other countries/jurisdictions around the world. By using the services, you consent to the transfer of your data outside the EEA.

If you are an EEA resident, your personal data will only be transferred to locations outside the EEA if we are convinced that an adequate or comparable level of protection for personal data exists. We will take appropriate steps to ensure that we have suitable contractual arrangements with our third parties to ensure that the appropriate safeguards are in place to minimize the risk of unlawful use, alteration, deletion, loss, or theft of your personal data and that such third parties act at all times in compliance with applicable laws.

California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may be entitled to certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Specifically, you may have the right to:

  • Request the deletion of your personal data;

  • Know what personal data is being collected about you;

  • Know whether your personal data is sold or disclosed, and to whom;

  • Say no to the sale of your personal data (opt-out);

  • Access your personal data; and

  • Receive equal service and price, even if you exercise your privacy rights.

We do not sell your personal data. If you wish to exercise any of the above rights, or for any questions about our privacy practices, you may contact us.

Updates or Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may revise this privacy policy at our sole discretion from time to time. The version posted on the website is always the most current one (see "Effective Date"). We encourage you to review this privacy policy regularly for any changes. In the event of any significant changes, we will post a notice on our website. By continuing to use the services after being notified of changes to our website, you acknowledge and agree to the updated terms of the privacy policy and agree to be bound by the modified terms.
